Introduction to the Alexander technique

The Alexander Technique is well known as a proven approach for helping people recover from back pain and improve posture, but it offers a lot more besides that.
Most of us live in a background of muscular tension which we never notice until it is dramatically reduced, and we take this unconscious habitual tension into all our activities. Learning how to move in a more integrated and simple way results in ease, freedom and lightness, easier breathing, and a calmer state of mind.
It is a practical way of learning to live a more mindful life, and when applied over time results in a more conscious embodied state of awareness.
This class will provide a practical, enjoyable and informative introduction to the Alexander Technique.
Please book in advance as the class is limited to 8. Participants may also book an individual lesson with Philippa with a 20% reduction on the normal rate.
